Fair Lawn, New Jersey – Recycling your solid carbide tools is both environmentally beneficial and profitable. When warn-our tools are kept out of landfills and junkyards, we all win.
Most of our solid carbide tools come from recycled carbides. We pay a competitive market price for used carbide. Customers can make tens of thousands of dollars annually in profit by selling us their worn inserts and solid carbide tools. regardless of their origin.
Making new tools from recycled solid carbide requires 70% less energy than making them from virgin raw materials. Production from recycled materials means 40% less carbon dioxide is emitted. Becuase these raw materials are scarce and finite, recycling becomes even more of a neceessity. Estimated reserves of tungsten, for example, are around 7 million tons, or 100 years of consumption. Why mine unnecessarily?
We use environmentally sound methods to recycle. The production in the recycling factory is ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certified. We are continuously searching for ways to make recycling technologies cleaner and more efficient.
