Eastex Products Inc. is introducing a new line of air holding TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) coated nylon fabrics that are ideal for manufacturing inflatable products and gel packs using various technologies.
Eastex Tek Air Medical Fabrics are soft, non-stretch, TPU coated nylon fabrics that hold air, water, and gels and can be manufactured using RF welding and heat and sonic sealing technologies. Ideal for fabricating inflatable medical products, these soft fabrics are flame retardant, fluid proof, easy to clean, stain resistant, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal.
Available in 54" and 60" rolls, Eastex Tek Air Medical Fabrics come in standard blue, black and maroon in fabric deniers including 70d, 210d and 420d, etc. Typical medical products made with these low shear fabrics include blood pressure cuffs, circulation leg wraps, cold water circulating therapy wraps, hot or cold gel packs, hospital air mattresses, and wheelchair seat cushions.
