Eriez Chip and Parts Conveyors provide a practically maintenance free solution for moving and elevating ferrous materials. With the exception of an externally mounted drive motor, these units are self-contained, with a conveyor mechanism that is completely enclosed. There are no moving external parts to jam, break or jeopardize the safety of personnel.
“Our most popular Chip and Parts Conveyor models feature a unique internal track system called Tuf-Trac, designed for low maintenance, quiet operation and long service life,” explains John Mackowski, Eriez Metalworking Product Manager. “Customers benefit from improved productivity and profits, reduced machine downtime and unmatched protection for operating personnel.”
Eriez Chip and Parts Conveyors use a continuous series of powerful ceramic magnets to pickup and glide material along the stainless steel slider plate. Material is then discharged over the head end. Custom designed units can be submerged in coolant sumps or quench tanks, or may be located under punch presses or other equipment to move chips, parts or scrap. The working face is self-cleaning.
A wide variety of shapes, sizes and options are available to meet specific application requirements.
