EWS Tool Technologies of Germany (EWS) has purchased Command Tooling Systems, LLC. Headquartered in Uhingen, Germany, EWS offers worldwide distribution including facilities located in China, Korea, and France.
Command will continue to offer its current product lines, including standard and custom toolholders, specialty toolholders, along with its full line of ThermoLock Shrink-fit products and the URMA modular boring systems and reamers. With the addition of EWS, Command will significantly expand its global presence along with its product lines, including a complete offering of driven and static tools. “This is a very exciting opportunity for Command and the U.S. machining industry,” stated Robert Rubenstahl, CEO & President of Command/EWS. “The EWS driven tool product line is one of the best in the world and will now be widely-available in North America.”
