Officials for FCI Electronics, a leading provider of high-speed and power connectors and interconnect solutions for the datacom, consumer, and industrial applications, have appointed Alessandro Perrotta as CEO based out of Singapore, effective in February.
"I am very pleased to welcome Alex to FCI,” says Walid Sarkis, managing director, Bain Capital. “His deep knowledge of the electronic connector industry as well as his extensive experience in Asia will be important to accelerate the successful growth FCI has experienced as well as continue delivering innovation, service and value to our customers."
Perrotta was executive vice president, Wafers, Cells, and Modules at Renewable Energy Corp. based in Singapore. Prior to that, he served as corporate vice president and group general manager of the Mobile Consumer Product Division with Amphenol Corp.
Perrotta holds master degrees in electrical engineering and business administration.
