GF AgieCharmilles recently unveiled its own set of official iPad apps to create an interactive digital communication platform for its machine tool customers, allowing them to quickly and easily access up-to-date information on the company’s products, applications, technologies and processes.
The apps are available for free download from the Apple® App Store. According to Gisbert Ledvon, business development manager for Agie Charmilles LLC, “These iPad apps further expand our customer-centric approach to communications, progressive thinking and technology leadership. We want our customers to have a richer connection tous.”
With these apps, GF AgieCharmilles can distribute digital content that far exceeds what is possible with print media. Customers can watch videos and view 360-degree interactive images of the company’s high-speed/high-performance milling machines, EDMs, laser ablation systems and automation solutions. Furthermore, once customers download the GF AgieCharmilles apps to their iPad, they can take the content with them wherever they go without the need for an Internet connection.
“Not only do these apps redefine how we communicate with our customers, they’re also better for the environment because there’s no paper waste and information can be indefinitely archived without consuming much space,” noted Ledvon.
The iPad currently holdsmore than 90 percent market share worldwide, encouraging GF AgieCharmilles to continue to expand its digital publication applications through this sleek, portable and extremely popular technology device.
