Mahr Inc., a leading provider of dimensional metrology solutions, announced the HEH Group and its companies, Motch & Eichele and Crotts & Saunders, have entered into a new agreement to distribute Mahr’s line of precision metrology equipment.
This partnership allows both companies to expand their product portfolios and offer customers a broader range of measurement and inspection solutions. This collaboration aligns with The HEH Group’s continued commitment to offering complete solutions across the machining process, from machine tools and automation to metrology and service.
Mahr brings valuable expertise in surface finish and shaft measuring technologies, two critical areas for manufacturers seeking to improve part quality and consistency. Surface finish measurement helps ensure components meet strict performance and durability standards for industries such as automotive, aerospace, and medical manufacturing. Shaft measuring systems, meanwhile, allow for high-precision inspection of cylindrical components, helping shops achieve tighter tolerances and faster part validation.
“We’re always looking for ways to help our customers improve precision, productivity, and performance,” says Willie Eichele, president of The HEH Group. “By adding Mahr’s specialized technologies in surface finish and shaft measuring to our lineup, we’re complementing our existing strengths and giving customers more tools to achieve exceptional results.”
"The HEH Group's extensive knowledge of the manufacturing industry and commitment to customer satisfaction make them an ideal partner for Mahr,” says John Roberts, vice president sales Americas/executive director at Mahr Inc. “We're excited to combine our expertise in precision metrology with their strengths in machine tools and automation to deliver enhanced solutions for our shared customers."
By integrating Mahr’s specialized technologies, Motch & Eichele and Crotts & Saunders further strengthen their role as full-service partners to manufacturers. Both companies are committed to supporting businesses with equipment, application expertise, training, and service to deliver practical and dependable solutions that drive measurable results.
