An employee with 16 years of experience will assume the position of managing director for all Hunter Automated Machinery Corp. Asia Pacific (A/P) operations, according to a letter company’s president.
Peter Li will begin the new role Feb. 1. He will be responsible for the A/P marketing and manufacturing programs, including the Shanghai plant, the expansion of the company’s agent network, and integration with new partners.
“Peter has the experience, ability, and determination to help us achieve these goals and support our strategic plans,” states a letter from William Hunter, president, Hunter.
Li has worked in sales and manufacturing management in the A/P territory throughout his 16 years at Hunter, helping develop the company’s China operation, “Hunter Automated Machinery (Shanghai) Ltd.
Hunter is a world leader in automated matchplate molding machinery and mold handling lines for the foundry industry.
