IMTS 2012 Balloon Schedule Set

The launch of IMTS – The International Manufacturing Technology Show 2012, begins in Michigan this weekend.

Show management for IMTS – The International Manufacturing Technology Show 2012 announces the festival schedule for the hallmark IMTS hot air balloon. 

The balloon, which made its inaugural flight in 2004, has achieved almost iconic mascot status. “The IMTS balloon is an important visual object that supports our brand, big enough to be seen from a distance, and interesting enough to draw people closer,” states Peter Eelman, IMTS vice president – exhibition and communications. “As people arrive at the South Building, long-time IMTS visitors see the balloon outside Chicago’s McCormick Place say, ‘It's IMTS time!’ For new visitors it is a visually striking and unexpected image.”
