Chicago – Make plans to attend the IMTS 2014 Conferences to learn about Cloud Computing: What It Is and How It Will Revolutionize the Manufacturing Industry.
DATE: Wednesday, September 10 from 2:15 PM - 3:10 PM ROOM: W-192A
SPEAKER: Michael Taesch, Cloud Evangelist, MachiningCloud GmbH
Cloud computing, specifically for the industry of manufacturing, is currently in its infancy, with only a handful of providers delivering cloud-based services. Cloud based applications are embraced by consumers as is evidenced by the fact that a significant portion of the general population accesses cloud based services every day. As such, it stands to reason that cloud based services can intelligently advise manufacturers regarding best practices specific to each unique manufacturing process and will eventually be the standard in manufacturing. This presentation will address how current and future intelligent and time-saving cloud-based applications for manufacturers will increase accuracy, intelligence, knowledge, and process management while saving both time and money.
The educational and informative conferences run Sept. 8-11, 2014 in the West Building, Level 1. To register for this or any session, visit www.imts.com/education/imtsconference.html.
