Chicago – Make plans to attend the IMTS 2014 Conferences to learn about Implementing Modular Solutions for Tool Holders and Workholding.
DATE: Thursday, September 11 from 11:00 AM - 11:55 AM ROOM: W-192C
SPEAKER: Gerard Vacio, Product Specialist, Big Kaiser Precision Tooling Inc.
This presentation provides background information on modular tooling solutions that will provide manufacturers with the confidence needed to migrate away from dedicated tooling and workholding products and into modularized tooling systems. By understanding the capabilities and capacities of available modular systems, attendees will be able to generate implementation plans and cost justify the replacement of some existing tooling and workholding, while integrating their remaining components into a more efficient solution for setting up cutting tools and fixturing workpieces. The guidelines provided for cost justifying modular solutions will show how to reduce total tool crib inventory without limiting a shop’s abilities or reducing throughput.
The educational and informative conferences run Sept. 8-11, 2014 in the West Building, Level 1. To register for this or any session, visit www.imts.com/education/imtsconference.html.
