Automation: The Path to IIoT for Connected Machines in a Digital Factory

Plan to attend the IMTS 2016 Conferences to learn about smart technologies and manufacturing practices.

Chicago, Illinois - The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT): Yesterday it was a trendy topic. Today it is giving rise to a new generation of smart technologies and manufacturing practices. Tomorrow it will completely transform the manufacturing industry as we know it.
While IIoT is still in its early stages, the concept is expected to give rise to the next Industrial revolution within the next 10 years. That’s why it’s important for shops struggling to understand the implications of IIoT on business need to be quick on the uptake as the risks of moving too slow are real.
The good news, however, is that IIoT is expected to steadily gain traction in four phases, giving shops time develop an integrated action plan and successfully adopt the concept in stages. But the key is to act now by starting small, but planning big.
This presentation will cover the opportunities and risks of IIoT as well as what actions shops must take today to ensure long-term success. Real-world results of early IIoT adoption will also be shared.
