About the speaker
Bob Pettit stated his career in 1978 as a hydraulic mechanic trainee. Since then he has held many different positions in the industry from hydraulic mechanic, sales, and sales management to Chief Technical Officer of a major component and systems manufacturer. He spent 15 years in southern California with the old Paul-Munroe Hydraulics Company (Berendsen Fluid Power today) and the last 19+ years with HAWE Hydraulik based out of Charlotte, NC. Bob first received the Fluid Power Specialist certification back in 1991. Today, Bob is the Chief Technical Officer, North America for HAWE Hydraulik and leads the application engineering and systems engineering groups for the North American operation.
