About the presentation:
Every day, manufacturers are vulnerable to recalls, inefficiencies, counterfeiting and process errors. And when any compromised product enters the marketplace, the consumer becomes at risk, too. But there is one way to maximize manufacturing efficiency, keep product defect-free, control inventory and prioritize consumer safety: Traceability in the Connected Enterprise.
Plan to attend The IMTS 2018 Conferences to give you deeper insight into new manufacturing technologies & ideas!
Simply put, this technology uses the Internet of Things to identify the genealogy of the parts, circulate the information across a central network and ensure the components can be located in real time, anywhere in the manufacturing process. By using this technology, coupled with permanent traceability in the form of serial numbers, bar codes, 2D codes, data matrixes or unique identification numbers (UIDs), recalls are reduced, downtime is minimized and a premium is put on safety for the consumer and manufacturer.
Registration is now open so check out the IMTS 2018 website for more information.
