Meet your presenter
Tomas Hedenborg is Group CEO of Fastems, a supplier of flexible manufacturing systems and robotics-based automation. Since December 2015, Hedenborg has been serving as president of Orgalime – The European Engineering Industries Association.
Hedenborg previously held the position of president and CEO of Finn-Power Oy (2005 to 2011) and automotive front-end module producer HBPO, Germany (2000 to 2005). He has a strong background in mechanical engineering, specifically in the automotive and machine tool sector. After spending the first 10 years of his 33-year professional life in management positions in R&D, he has since carried global responsibility for organizations with high development potential.
Hedenborg holds an M.S.c in mechanical engineering from Helsinki University Technology (now Aalto University).
