ITA’s call for papers TITANIUM EUROPE 2015

Papers will be presented at TITANIUM EUROPE 2015 May 11-13, 2015, at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, UK.


Denver, Colorado – The International Titanium Association (ITA) has issued a “Call for Papers” to be presented at TITANIUM EUROPE 2015, the 3rd annual European conference & exhibition, which will be held the May 11-13, 2015 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel, located at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

Interested presenters (ITA members and non-members alike) may submit abstracts by e-mail to ita@titanium.org for consideration by the conference organizing committee. Instructions for proper submissions are located in the Industry Events section of the ITA website.

Sufficient detail for fair evaluation of the proposed paper and presentation should be included along with an indication which of the following session(s) the presenter would prefer to participate in: Raw Materials; Alternative Energy; Commercial Aerospace; Military/Defense; Automotive; Medical; Industrial Markets; Economy/Finance; Energy Exploration and Production; Manufacturing Technology; New Materials; Consumer Markets; Architectural; Welding & Joining; Medical Applications. Only abstracts written in English will be considered.

Jennifer Simpson, executive director of the ITA, also announced “early incentive” registration offers discounted registration rates now through October, 31, 2014. ITA staff members are available to answer any questions regarding registration and housing or simply visit the ITA Website for more details.

For the past two years, International Titanium Association has organized almost 500 delegates from more than 30 countries at their annual European event. Simpson says, “attendees view the European conference favorably as it offers a cost-effective way for delegates to meet potential partners, customers and vendors – creating opportunities for companies to move beyond their regional borders to consider international business ventures and strategic alliances.”

The European conference attracts titanium producers, distributors, designers, metallurgists, fabricators, and end-users.

Conference attendees typically hold executive positions in areas such as management, sales and marketing, product development, procurement, engineering and design, purchasing, and quality control.
