The International Titanium Association (ITA) is pleased to announce the 2014 Scholarship opportunity is now available. The ITA Scholarship awards were created to assist students preparing for a career in the science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) field of study.
The ITA will accept up to 50 nominations and will award four individuals with a $2,500 USD scholarship opportunity. The ITA scholarship is geared for current college or university sophomores or juniors or the international equivalent who plan to enroll in STEM undergraduate field of study at an accredited two or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire 2014-2015 academic year. Students must be currently enrolled in one of the eligible majors (list attached) and have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent. Each ITA member in good standing may nominate no more than three students per year. (Any person employed by an ITA member company is eligible to nominate any qualified applicant).
The award recipients will be acknowledged at the TITANIUM 2014 Conference in Chicago hosted by the ITA Grant committee. Attached is the application for your consideration. Please forward to any coworkers for consideration.
