Officails at Landis Threading Systems introduce the #5 EZ Roller, extending its range of CNC thread rolling tools. The #5 is capable of rolling threads from 5/16” to 5/8”, or M8 to M16.
Simple to set up and operate, the #5 is ideal for rapid, low-cost thread generation, with medium to long part runs.
The #5 creates a rolled thread with greater strength, improved finish, and material savings in a chip-less operation that can be produced with conventional CNC equipment.
The #5 is the largest rolling tool in the CNC EZ Roller series. Other tools in the range are capable of rolling threads as low as #0 - 80 UNF, and can be used with Swiss Automatic machines.
Tools are available with standard .750” and 1.00” cylindrical shanks. Non-standard shanks are available. Thread rolls can be reversed after use to double life.
