The North American headquarters for Orvin, Switzerland-based LNS Group recently participated in the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes in Cincinnati, Ohio. The LNS team raised $3,955, exceeding its goal of $3,500.
Participation in this event is part of a worldwide commitment by the more than 800 LNS Group employees to honor the 40th anniversary of the company’s founding by giving back to their communities through public service. In addition to the JDRF walk, LNS America employees have helped rehabilitate homes for underprivileged families. Europe-based employees support the European Leukodystrophy Association, and in Taiwan the employees have been painting primary school walls.
Founded in 1973 as a bar feed manufacturer, LNS has consistently expanded both bar feeding technology and the breadth of its product range. Today LNS is a one-stop shop for machine tool peripherals that include chip conveyors, coolant management systems, workholding devices, air filtration systems and, of course, the industry’s most comprehensive assortment of 12ft and short load bar feeders.
According to LNS Group Chief Executive Officer, Thomas H. Boehmer, “Over the past dozen years we’ve evolved into a global supplier of world-class machine tool accessories, all designed to complement the finest manufacturing equipment. Through the efforts of our more than 800 team members worldwide, we plan to continue to deliver unmatched value to our customers for many decades to come.”
