PPT Vision will now offer an extended warranty on all PPT cameras and vision system hardware, Robert Heller, CEO, announced today. The program extends the repair and replacement warranty period on all PPT Vision hardware for up to 7.5 years, provided that there is continuous coverage in place from the date of purchase, according to Heller.
“This is yet another demonstration of confidence in our vision systems from Day One,” Heller says. “And, it is an extension of our commitment to the highest standards of quality, performance and customer service.”
The extended warranty program is an added benefit that extends beyond PPT’s standard guarantee to cover all specified devices for up to 7.5 years or as long as the coverage for the identified unit is maintained. It is available in one-year increments, starting at the end of the standard guarantee, and applies to hardware replacement costs associated with defective equipment, according to Heller. In the event that a covered device is no longer available, a credit will be applied toward an alternate replacement device.
“This comprehensive extended warranty reinforces our commitment to fully support our PPT products, from smart cameras to embedded systems and custom-tailored solutions,” Heller states. “For customers, it affords peace of mind and confidence in knowing that their PPT products are fully covered for over seven years.”
