Wood Dale, Illinois – MC Machinery Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corp., recently filled its national sales position with an engineering, sales, account, and operations manager with nearly 26 years of experience in the metalworking industry. Fred Puzon joins as a national sales manager responsible for managing all sales and product development activities in the company’s machining technologies department. This department includes milling, 5-axis machining, and turning solutions.
Puzon comes to MC Machinery with extensive mechanics and mechanical engineering sales experience gained from a number of positions in the metalworking industry. His employment experience includes leadership positions with a variety of corporations, including Hyundai-WIA Machine America, DMG MORI, Mori Seiki USA Inc., and others. His expertise demonstrates his wealth of product knowledge and understanding.
“We chose Fred because we know he will deliver,” says Bill Isaac, MC Machinery senior VP of sales. “His experience proves his ability to expand sales beyond the distributor level, mold client relationships into partnerships and manage multi-million dollar sales products. All of which make him an invaluable addition to our team.”
Puzon brought an understanding of establishing and managing supply chains for start-up machine tool factories, increasing amounts of local-sourced parts and generating wide profit margins on national and international levels, skills he gained in multiple positions with Mori Seiki USA, Inc., to his most recent sales support manager position with Hyundai-WIA Machine America. With Hyundai-WIA, Puzon oversaw product implementations, applications, marketing efforts and sales, serving as a go-to for distributors throughout the entire sales process.
“I like to refer to myself as ‘the Answer Man,” Puzon says. “I am looking forward to the opportunity to continue to work and learn as a member of MC Machinery’s national sales team, leveraging my skills implementing multi-tie sales structures and directing complex projects.”
