Medical Develop Company Adds Two Executives

Synectic Medical Product Development announced the recent addition of two members of its executive management team. Rick Granger, former President of Covidien's Valleylab Division, has been named Interim CEO of Synectic and has joined its board of directors. Prior to his tenure as President of Valleylab in Boulder, Colorado, Granger was Vice President of R&D for Covidien's U.S. Surgical Division in North Haven, Connecticut. Rick Granger brings a wealth of engineering, R&D, medical device product development, and manufacturing experience to the helm of Synectic.

Synectic Medical Product Development announced the recent addition of two members of its executive management team.  Rick Granger, former president of Covidien’s Valleylab Division, has been named Interim CEO of Synectic and has joined its board of directors.  Prior to his tenure as president of Valleylab in Boulder, Co, Granger was vice president of R&D for Covidien’s U.S. Surgical Division in North Haven, Connecticut.  Granger brings a wealth of engineering, R&D, medical device product development, and manufacturing experience to the helm of Synectic.

Also joining Synectic’s executive management team is Bob Walden, formerly market manager for Orthopedic and Ophthalmic Markets and Business Development Manager for IncisionTech, A Cadence Company.  Walden has been named director of sales and business development for Synectic.  Prior to his stint at IncisionTech, Walden was the Hematology and Oncology Division Administrator for the University of Virginia, School of Medicine.  Walden was also a former career Marine Corps officer and helicopter pilot.
