Dupaco Partners with Edison Nation Medical to uncover new inventions

Charlotte, North Carolina – Officials from Dupaco and Edison Nation Medical announce a global innovation search for surgical or anesthesia products used in operating rooms, surgical rehab, or recovery that provide safer patient handling, better patient outcomes, or reduce the occurrence of negative events. 

Dupaco's goal is to provide patients with the best protection devices. For more than 40 years, Dupaco has been working with some of the world's largest healthcare companies to do just that.

Through this search, Edison Nation Medical and Dupaco welcome product innovations that will reduce the likelihood of Serious Reportable Events or Medicaid-defined Provider Preventable Conditions (such as medication errors, pressure ulcers, electric shock, falls, burns, and hospital-acquired infections) or other preventable negative patient care events.

Idea submissions may include devices, products, technologies, or apps and can be early-stage concepts all the way through fully-patented and manufactured products looking to scale. The search is open to the public, and individuals and small businesses from around the world are encouraged to submit inventions through the confidential portal at www.EdisonNationMedical.com/Dupaco now through Oct. 31, 2015. Every submission will be evaluated by Edison Nation Medical's team of intellectual property, medical and technical efficacy and commercialization experts and ideas that successfully pass through Edison Nation Medical's 8-stage evaluation process will be presented to Dupaco for potential licensing. Edison Nation Medical shares licensing royalties with each successful inventor.
