Pawel Abramek’s face turns up a smile when he speaks about his internship at the Surgical Devices business unit of Covidien.

Abramek is a senior majoring in mechanical engineering at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain and he has been relishing the “real world” experience he said he received at Covidien’s Middletown Avenue facility.
