Arlington, Vermont – Officials from Mack Molding, a leading custom plastics molder and supplier of contract manufacturing services, announced Larry Hovish, to director of communications, reporting to President Jeff Somple.
"With experience as both a journalist and a marketing communications leader in the fields of manufacturing and medical devices, Larry brings an extensive skill set to help Mack leverage the strength of its story with our external and internal stakeholders," Somple said. "Throughout the years Mack has grown into a truly dynamic, geographically-diverse Company, and Larry has the proven track record of engaging employees, drawing on shared experiences to drive growth at all organization levels."
Prior to joining Mack, Hovish most recently served a senior communications manager at Albany, N.Y.-based medical device company, AngioDynamics Inc. He previously gained experience working for French multinational Alstom's transport division and various Upstate New York newspapers.
Hovish will have marketing communications responsibilities for Mack's northern and southern divisions along with Mack Prototype, a prototyping and low-volume manufacturing facility in Massachusetts; and Synectic, an engineering services group in Connecticut.
