Cardinal Machinery as Doosan Distributor

Doosan announces the appointment of Cardinal Machinery as distributor in Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi for the Doosan family of turning- and machining-centers.

Announcing the appointment, Jim Shiner, Doosan’s director of sales and marketing, points to Cardinal’s extensive background in the metalworking industry.  He explains, “Its executives and district sales managers average 30 years experience in the metalworking industry; its service men 25 years.  It’s this breadth and diversity of experience that helps its customers achieve maximize efficiency and productivity while minimizing expenditures.”

Cardinal Machinery began operations more than 40 years ago, and during the ensuing years has installed more than 5,000 metalworking machines.  Its headquarters, display room and applications group are located in Memphis, TN.  Its sales and service personnel are strategically located throughout its three-state service area.

Doosan is presently one of the world’s largest builders of turning centers and machining centers, with a product family consisting of more than 75 models and sizes.  It maintains relations with more than 35 independent distributors located in the United States, Canada, and Central and South America.
