ClipVac System Design

The ClipVac System from Surgical Site Solutions removes body hair from patients prior to surgery in a far more efficient and effective manner than current methods. This innovative, patent-pending system utilizes a small rechargeable portable vacuum coupled with an operating room grade disposable filter, flexible tube and a suction port that fits most current clippers.

When body hair is clipped, the ClipVac System removes the hair as it is being clipped, providing a clear view of the skin. The hair is trapped in a disposable filter that is discarded after each use eliminating the need to “tape” off the skin to remove the hair, which in turn eliminates potential skin irritation and reactions.
