IMS Software, developer of IMSpost for CNC postprocessing and IMSverify for CNC verification and simulation, and OKK USA have signed a technology and sales partnership agreement. Under the agreement IMS will develop OKK-approved prepackaged configurations of its CNC postprocessing, verification and simulation software for OKK’s 5-axis horizontal and vertical machining center product lines. OKK becomes an authorized reseller of IMS Software’s full product line.
“This is a logical extension of the informal partnership IMS and OKK have had for several years,” says Dan Wrenn, president and co-founder of IMS. “We are delighted to extend the relationship and offer a broader solution for all OKK customers.”
“The partnership between OKK and IMS allows us to now offer two very important features for successful 5-axis machining,” says Rich Klein, applications manager at OKK USA. “Post processing and G-code verification are an invaluable part of 5-axis machining.”
