The HALO XP was designed for ambulatory patients. It is a lightweight and portable system that combines advanced technology with easy-to-use features. The new portable npwt pump was created to provide an affordable option to patients and healthcare facilities.
Chronic, non-healing or untreated wounds are clinically affecting many patients and adding significant cost to our healthcare system. This cost is estimated at $113 billion. This medical cost will continue to increase even with competitive bidding starting by the end of 2012. Equinox believes that affordable npwt technology should be available to all chronic patients.
