Rockford, Illinois – Shell Lubricants announces its platinum sponsorship of Manufacturing Day 2015, placing a spotlight on manufacturers participating in the program and providing necessary resources. This is the third straight year that Shell Lubricants has sponsored Manufacturing Day, and its second year as the exclusive platinum sponsor. Manufacturing Day is a grassroots effort by U.S. manufacturers to improve the public perception of manufacturing in North America by coordinating awareness-raising activities at a variety of locations across the country on October 2, 2015.

A panel of co-producers comprised of theFabricators & Manufacturers Association International (FMA), the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), the Manufacturing Institute (MI), the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) Hollings Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP), and guest producerIndustrial Strength Marketing (ISM) provides the centralized support necessary to coordinate this nationwide array of simultaneous events.
