US Endoscopy Expanding

US Endoscopy, a world leader in endoscopy device design and manufacturing, has purchased a new, 70,000 square foot manufacturing facility. Located 300 yards from the Corporate Headquarters in Mentor, Ohio (USA), the Manufacturing Center will provide the space needed to meet growing demand.

"We are pleased that US Endoscopy is able to take the next critical step in supporting our high growth, niche strategy by acquiring our fourth building," said Tony Siracusa, US Endoscopy COO. "This will proactively provide us the much needed capacity to support continued growth in manufacturing, distribution, and office space while maintaining our local campus setting."

Although the facility was originally built for medical device manufacturing, many renovations are planned in the coming months. US Endoscopy hopes to transition all existing production functions to the new facility by the end of 2011.
