Mastercam summer teacher training

Mastercam 2015 summer teacher training gives instructors an opportunity to boost their Mastercam skills.


Tolland, Connecticut – CNC Software Inc., producer of Mastercam CAD/CAM software, announces 2015 Mastercam Summer Teacher Training. Each year, the Mastercam Educational Division holds a series of weeklong classes for instructors at their office in Gig Harbor, Washington. Not only do these classes provide instructors with the training they need for a successful, up-to-date program, but they also provide instructors with the opportunity to share ideas with other instructors in their field.

Special offer and bonus for 2015
Each instructor that attends a 2015 STT class will receive a free Mastercam University course of their choosing. Each instructor that attends a 2015 STT class will receive a free Mastercam University course of their choosing. We are offering a discount of $175 to instructors that meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Instructors that attended Mastercam STT in 2014, 2013, or 2012. 
  • The first instructor from a single school pays $550, but every other instructor from that school pays just $375 per class.
  • Bring a friend and he or she pays $375 per class.
  • Instructors that attend more than one class this summer pay $550 for the first class, and just $375 for each additional class.

Schedule

  • Mastercam for SOLIDWORKS– Design and produce CNC code from inside SOLIDWORKS. All design work will be done in SOLIDWORKS and toolpaths applied using Mastercam for SOLIDWORKS. Offered July 6-10, 2015.
  • Mastercam Art – Utilizing Mastercam Art can allow the kind of personalization that will make your class a student favorite. Learn to import geometry and manipulate it to create the effect you desire. Offered July 6-10, 2015. 
  • Mastercam Fundamentals – Designed to take the complete beginner from feeling intimidated to feeling intimidated and overwhelmed to feeling comfortable working with the tools in Mastercam. Offered July 13-17, 2015.
  • Beginning Projects – The perfect class for instructors who have a little experience with CAD/CAM/CNC but are looking to gain the confidence to ass a project-based curriculum to their program. Offered July 20-24, 2015.
  • Intermediate Projects – This class will utilize Mastercam Mill to create advanced level projects. Instruction will cover pocketing, contouring, design elements, and high speed toolpaths (no specialized machines needed). Offered August 3-7, 2015.
