Minneapolis, Minnesota – Kurt will feature original Kurt AngLock Vise models and newly expanded lineup of advanced workholding products for improved machining productivity at WESTEC, Los Angeles, California, Booth #2602.
The original Made-In-America Kurt Anglock vise line has been expanded to over 60 models and includes the new Maxlock self centering multi-axis vises in 2.5" and 4" jaw widths. The AngLock line includes 2.5", 4", 6", 8", and 10" models with many available in manual and hydraulic actuation and a full lineup of Anglock Cluster towers.
The Kurt Anglock vise design assures the machine part will stay in the most immobile state possible by providing an opposing, downward force to the moveable jaw as it is tightened. For each pound of clamping pressure produced, the Anglock induces 1/2-pound of downward force on the moveable jaw, making these vises extremely precision.
Kurt will demonstrate additional new products at WESTEC including: new line of Sidewinder companion vises, designed to mount to the back of 6" and 8" single station vises, providing ideal setup of second-operations in the vertical position. The DoveLock quick-change jaw system for time-saving 1-minute changes overs now available in 4", 6", and 8" aluminum models and a new 6" steel model. Kurt will round out the Westec demonstrations with the new DT20 Dovetail vise ideal for aggressive 5-axis machining.
