Minnetronix Celebrates 15 Years

Group of 185+ highly-skilled, innovative employees develop, build range of innovative medical products.

Minnetronix Inc., an award-winning Twin Cities-based provider of medical device design, development, and manufacturing services, celebrates its 15-year anniversary this Friday, July 29, at Minnetronix' Headquarters in St. Paul, MN.

Founded in 1996 with the mission of rapidly developing and manufacturing technologically advanced medical devices, Minnetronix set forth on its first project - an electric motor-driven total artificial heart. This project, which was a joint effort with 3M Company and Penn State University, helped lay the groundwork for the firm's rapid business growth.

Minnetronix has since assembled a group of 185+ experienced, highly-skilled and innovative employees who are developing and building a wide range of innovative medical products for customers across the United States.

Over Minnetronix' 15-year history, the firm has successfully led 150 design and manufacturing projects for over 100 firms varying from small start-ups to large established firms. Included in a broad base of customers are 3M, Cleveland Clinic, HeartWare, MEDRAD Interventional, Medtronic, St. Jude Medical, and numerous others.

"A combination of hard work and luck has allowed Minnetronix to grow and prosper for the 15 years since our founding," says Rich Nazarian, company president and CEO.

Minnetronix' successes have also been recognized over the years with numerous industry awards, including but not limited to:
  • Great Place to Work from the Twin Cities Business Journal (2004)
