Just weeks ago, medical technology company InfraRed Imaging Systems Inc. was moments away from closing its doors.
Hurt by the recession, the company had been treading water, searching for capital to keep operations running and refusing to give up on a product that has the potential to dramatically improve the way doctors and nurses insert needles and catheters.
