Florence, Kentucky – Mazak continues to expand the reach and power of its distribution network with the addition of Unbridled Technologies (U Tech). The new Mazak distributor further ensures that customers in Florida always have access to the most advanced metalworking technology, strongest service, and experienced applications engineering – giving those customers the best possible competitive advantage.
Unbridled Technologies brings together an outstanding team that combines knowledge and a customer caring attitude to serve Florida manufacturers. With decades of experience in the machine tool industry, the full-service company will apply a total solutions approach in its support of Mazak customers in the surrounding areas.
Unbridled Technologies and Mazak, as a key element of the new partnership, will combine their applications and support resources to establish one of the best service and sales teams in the machine tool industry. This will include Mazak personnel working onsite at the Unbridled Technologies facility and a combined network of service engineers throughout the Florida market.
“We look forward to working with Unbridled Technologies as we continue to grow market share in Florida and become the largest machine tool supplier in the state,” said Brian Papke, president of Mazak Corp. “While it’s typical for OEMs to trim customer service, support and sales initiatives to reduce overhead, Mazak continues to expand its capabilities in Florida as well as throughout all of North America.”
The Unbridled Technologies facility, as well as Mazak’s Technology Center in Atlanta, has the capacity to develop and prove out turnkey manufacturing systems and provide complete application and project support.
“We have the utmost respect for Mazak and its products, people and most of all the great culture of the company,” said Mike Hessney, president of Unbridled Technologies. “Our entire team is thrilled to partner with Mazak, and we believe that with their leading technology and products that provide customers with such high returns on investment, we will be very successful.”
Unbridled Technologies will move into a technical center near Tampa, Florida, one mile off I-75. The building will be used for free lifetime programming training, technical seminars, machine demonstrations and engineering. Initially, five sales professionals, two technicians, two customer assistants, and one manager will support these company activities.
