
DMG and Mori Seiki, two worldwide leading machine tool manufacturers, will join forces in the United States. Mori Seiki Co., Ltd. has agreed with the German machine tool manufacturer, Gildemeister Aktiengesellschaft (DMG), to assume all sales and service-related activities in the United States from April 1, 2010.
The new DMG / Mori Seiki USA will assume responsibility for all product support, regardless of whether the product is manufactured by DMG or Mori Seiki. Expanded service will be available to DMG users as existing product knowledge and expertise is transferred to Mori Seiki and its nationwide distributor network. DMG / Mori Seiki will also provide after-sales service, spare parts supply, training and engineering support.
Dr. Rüdiger Kapitza, Chairman of the Executive Board of Gildemeister Aktiengesellschaft, asserts that the timing for a strategic partnership between DMG and Mori Seiki is now. “Our joint innovative customer focus allows us to approach the challenges posed by the international economic crisis in a more targeted manner and to overcome them."
DMG and Mori Seiki are trendsetters in turning and milling technology. Advantages of the partnership include consolidation of parts inventory (located in Dallas), and an overall increased level of customer service for users of both Mori Seiki and DMG machines. The companies’ complementary resources will create an even stronger organization with a vast product line.

In the growth market of India, DMG and Mori Seiki are also combining their sales and service operations as of April 1, 2010. The DMG / Mori Seiki India in Bangalore (India) will be responsible for the complete service and support of the entire product portfolios of both manufacturers.
DMG and Mori Seiki are expanding their presence in the fastgrowing Indian market and are jointly investing in a new technology center with a large showroom. There, extended solutions for the Indian market and as well as products to suit the precise needs and desires of customers will be presented.
