InCube Labs CEO Mir Imran announced he will be creating five companies within as many years in San Antonio, TX. Over ten years, the company could spend an estimated $100 million and hire 400 people.
Plans call for the company to move to the old Smith and Nephew facility. Three could be established by the end of 2010, but the city council must approve the agreement next week. The city and county will partner with the Texas Research and Technology Foundation, UT San Antonio and UT Health Science Center invest $10 million over five years.
