Schaumburg, Illinois – Updated TDM Global Line software offers high-speed access to in-house tool data, giving manufacturers the ability to increase productivity at all of their locations.
Thanks to the new software architecture and the tremendous data compression, all of the centrally defined tool data and graphics are available at each production facility with the click of a mouse. Users can expand their central application to other plants. TDM Global Line is compatible with the existing TDM database applications.
In addition to performance, TDM Systems placed a strong emphasis on user-friendly handling. For example, the Google-like tool search provides quick results that can be listed by item, tool assembly, and tool list. The customer can also individually configure their information view on the screen using widgets, depending on their own requirements.
Customers can manage user rights and mandates in one central location. When entering data, concurrent data validation also recognizes incorrect entries and forgotten mandatory fields. Another highlight for TDM customers is the initial booking functions that are already included in the first module 1.0. This allows the tool usage to be recorded in the connected plants.
Adir Zonta, product manager at TDM Systems notes, "TDM Global Line will greatly speed up the data transfer of industrial companies manufacturing around the globe. This is only possible because it is a new generation of software and application technology and thus, an important step towards the future."
