Agreement with Cleveland Clinic

Synergetics USA officials announce cooperative agreement to develop next generation intraoperative devices.


O'Fallon, Missouri – Officials from Synergetics USA Inc., a medical device company that designs, manufactures, and markets innovative surgical devices for ophthalmic and neurosurgical applications, announced the completion of a cooperative development agreement with Cleveland Clinic to develop next generation intraoperative devices. These devices are expected to lead to improved visualization of surgical sites leading to more precise tissue targeting and improved surgical outcomes. The agreement calls for Synergetics to provide research and development resources for the collaborative development of specific devices designed for the purpose of significantly advancing the nature of vitreoretinal surgery as it is performed today.
