Digital high precision finish boring head: The EWD 2-32 precision boring head for Ø.080" to 1.260" completes the program for digital boring tools with the KA5 connection to adapt to machines with BT30 and HSK-A50 spindles. All digital technology is developed internally by KAISER, and each tool is individually calibrated and programmed during assembly. The digital display reads tool carrier movement directly, eliminating any errors due to backlash or free-play of the dial. 

Series 319 SW aluminum: For the first time, the powerful combination of lightweight and strength that aluminum provides is available in the Series 319 twin cutter boring head. The head is an ideal solution for rough boring on 30 and 40 taper machines with limited tool weight for automatic tool change. These twin cutter heads can outperform single cutter heads by a factor of up to four.

•XL diameter and deep hole tooling: Whether the job calls for large diameter finish boring, or even large diameter OD turning, the new lightweight aluminum construction and modular design of the XL system lets users machine diameters up to 118" with already-designed components. When it comes to deep hole boring, the Smart Damper tool holding system virtually eliminates vibration through a unique internal mechanism that functions as both counter and friction dampers.
