Lumenera Corporation, which develops and makes digital cameras and custom imagers for scientific, medical, industrial, and surveillance applications, is expanding its Ottawa manufacturing facility to meet demand.
Increased orders for Lumenera's customized camera services are the driving force behind the expansion, says the company. The expansion will increase manufacturing space by 70% and boost camera production by 23%.
"We are excited to ramp up production and further improve our efficiency and turnaround times," said Rob Sample, manufacturing manager at Lumenera.
The expansion is due to be completed in early December 2010.
