Delano, Minnesota – Officials from Sil-Pro LLC and Sil-Pro Machining Solutions (formerly MMI Precision) herein after referred to as Machining Solutions announce that the two companies have entered into a definitive agreement whereby Sil-Pro LLC will take sole ownership of Machining Solutions. Both Sil-Pro and Machining Solutions have developed innovative technologies to service mission critical applications across a variety of markets.
“Machining Solutions is a great fit for Sil-Pro and fulfills part of the strategic plan,” said Kevin Carver, president of Sil-Pro. “When our core medical business in cleanroom injection molding of silicone and thermoplastics is combined with the capabilities at Machining Solutions, it immediately enhances and extends Sil-Pro’s ability to better serve our customers. Enhanced capabilities such as Swiss and 5 Axis machining of exotic metals and plastics coupled with automated precision machining cells, will offer more value to many current and future projects.

Machining Solutions will begin doing business as Sil-Pro in January on Sil-Pro’s campus in Delano, Sil-Pro’s in-house machining department will offer custom-machined parts for the medical industry, while continuing to serve existing aerospace and defense customers and grow future customer relationships within the aerospace and defense markets.
