M.A. Ford Mfg. Co. Inc. has added a new double-margin drill to its high performance drill line, named Cyclone CXD. CXD features and benefits include:
- New lower thrust point geometry for better performance in titanium and stainless steel and carbon steels
- Enhanced double margin allowing quicker engagement in the hole and improved hole finishes
- Altima Plus ALTiN multi-layer coating for higher heat resistance
- Enhanced surface finish technology pre and post coating benefiting coating adhesion and enhancing chip evacuation
