St. Paul, Minnesota - Stone Machinery, now includes a price quote for a license of the Edgecam CAM solution, by Vero Software, with each HURCO machine tool.
“Edgecam has broad applications that most customers can use — whether they’re in tooling manufacturing, job shops, high-speed machining, prototyping, or EDM,” says Tom Drazkowski, owner of Stone Machinery for the past 30 years. “The software has broad appeal across many industries and customers.”
Drazkowski based his endorsement of Edgecam on several factors, among them the availability of local support for his customer base, and Edgecam’s ability to accurately program diverse machinery paired with various machine controls.
Drazkowski also credits the Edgecam Workflow interface for assisting programmers in managing all elements of a job. Stone Machinery performs extensive customer training on both machinery and software, and Drazkowski notes that Edgecam Workflow pairs well with his training methods.
“Workflow thinks the same way that we train customers to think with our machine tools,” he says. “They’ve moved past the standard CAM system by treating the work setup as an integral part of the software.”
