Lincolnshire, Illinois – GF Machining Solutions officials have opened a Center of Competence in Southern California. This facility is part of a new, 106,000ft2 Georg Fischer campus in Irvine, Orange County. With its large machine demonstration space, customer training rooms and resources for sales, service and applications staff, as well as an extensive spare parts and consumables warehouse, this facility will further strengthen support for West Coast customers.
The region’s manufacturers will have the opportunity to experience high-speed machines, EDM, laser texturing and automation solutions at an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for Oct. 9-10, 2014, in Irvine. During the event, visitors can tour the facility and consult with application and product specialists from GF Machining Solutions.
