Valley Forge, Pennsylvania – Houghton International Inc. officials have announced the introduction of two new microsites to provide resources and product information to manufacturers who use specialty hydraulic fluids, metalworking fluids, metal cleaners, or rust preventives.
The Houghton Metalworking Fluids microsite at www.houghtonmetalworking.com provides information regarding biostability, Houghton technologies, white papers, product data sheets, and other technical information that customers need to select optimal metalworking fluid technologies.
The Specialty Hydraulic Fluids site at www.houghtonfluidpower.com delivers detailed product information on anhydrous and water-based fire-resistant hydraulic fluid to the automotive, food and beverage, foundry, die-casting, steel processing, non-ferrous production, and mining industries. It also provides a Resource Center with technical papers and much more.
These two new sites join www.houghtonheattreat.com, launched last year, providing information to help manufacturers optimize their heat-treating operations.
“These microsites provide manufacturers with direct access to current research, methods, products and expertise in the industrial fluids industry,” said Dianne Carmody, Houghton Americas marketing director. “Instead of contacting Houghton to request information, they can browse our ‘self-serve’ microsites to learn about ways to use the latest fluid technologies to reduce costs, improve productivity, reduce waste, or otherwise improve operational performance.”
