WIDIA Products Group officials announce the company's partnership with Machining Cloud GmbH. A collaboration through which the complete WIDIA portfolio of cutting tool product data – descriptive, usage and geometric information and application knowledge – will be made available to its customers via the Cloud thereby significantly reducing the frustration and time associated with finding, selecting and determining the best use of its products.
Using the Machining Cloud tablet and desktop apps, WIDIA customers will have access to a rich set of software features including the ability to directly download the WIDIA cutting tool data into their CAM systems, tool-management software, cutting-tool presetters, machine tools and other data-hungry shop equipment.
