West Springfield, Massachusetts – Officials from MTI Systems Inc. announce that the company has recorded a record number of corporate license upgrade sales in 2014.
The Costimator cost estimating and quoting software has been implemented in over 1,600 manufacturing organizations worldwide since 1982, including job shops, contract manufacturers, OEMs, and engineering firms. This database driven estimating software contains thousands of industry validated manufacturing processes and feature-based cost models. These software features enable users the quick ability to accurately and consistently cost estimate and quote, a wide variety of parts, whether they are machined, fabricated, formed, or assembled.
A corporate license allows organizations to have unlimited user access to the software. “Manufacturers today, want to prove out software purchases before expanding its use throughout their enterprise.” said David LaJoie, VP sales of MTI Systems. “In 2014 we saw a 400% increase in the number of customers upgrading to an unlimited, corporate license of Costimator, which is a clear indicator that once clients start using the software, and see how it positively affects their cost estimating speed, accuracy and consistency, they quickly expand its use corporate wide.”
