Acquisition by Renishaw of Leader in Metrology Fixtures

Renishaw officials announce the purchase of R&R Sales LLC, a U.S.-based leader in fixtures for the global measurement and inspection market. The acquisition of R&R supports Renishaw's increasing focus on metrology system sales, such as those involving the company's new Equator gage, which requires fixturing devices. 

Grand Haven, MI-based R&R is family-owned and has 19 employees. For more than 20 years, the company has supplied the global measurement market with both modular and custom fixtures for CMM and vision systems. The R&R Fixture is widely used to hold parts for dimensional inspection in almost every manufacturing field, from automotive, aerospace and electronics to medical and household appliances.
